I’m really happy with my race, I’ve used John Hibbard’s former K15 (thanks a lot John), and I’ve been racing against full carbon Hobie Boards hand made specially for this event, longer (16′) and lighter, they are now for sale for 3500USD, probably 3 times what the K15 I used worth, so yes, I am happy with my race.
Bart de Zwart also did an excellent job on his K15, he’s a really good paddler and a very nice persone.
Marc Raasphort, SIC boards shaper also spent a lot of time with the leading group, on the 3rd day he’s been working hard pulling the pack for a long time.
It was good to paddle with all those top riders
The hobie team had to work hard to keep the first places, they did a good race, helping each other out, after 5 days of race I came less than 50sec behind Xavi…
